Some backstage at the show were happy to put on such a strong show with all the bad publicity the company has suffered.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter revealed that several in AEW were proud of the show that they were able to put on with all the bad publicity they have suffered through since Sunday.
Several in AEW noted how proud they were that after all this bad publicity, that they were able to put together such a strong Dynamite this week, & most were excited about the future, But others noted being depressed with how everything had gone down over the past week.

The show would feature the return of MJF, crowning of new AEW Trios Champions as well as Daniel Garcia winning the ROH Pure Title in his hometown.
