Rafael Dos Anjos Calls Out UFC Veterans for Fights that Motivate Him

The former UFC Lightweight champion made a call out for the UFC veterans.

In the tweet Dos Anjos explains that he no longer has the desire to go after a UFC championship. The Brazilian American won the UFC Lightweight title in 2015 at UFC 185 vs. Anthony Pettis in a performance of the night unanimous decision.

The former 155lbs champion moved up to Welterweight in 2017 where he went on to defeat Tarec Saffiedine, Neil Magny and Robbie Lawler to earn an interim Welterweight title shot vs. Colby Covington which he would lose by unanimous decision.

Since then RDA went on one more title run, this resulted in a main event fight night vs. eventual Welterweight champion Leon Edwards which he lost by unanimous decision before moving back down to 155lbs.

In 2010, RDA lost to Clay Guida at UFC 117 due to a TKO (jaw injury) and lost to Tony Ferguson in 2016 by decision in the finale of the Ultimate Fighter: Latin America 3 which they coached against each other.

RDA has never fought Masvidal or Jim Miller. However he would not mind fighting the baddest MF in the game or the all-time wins leaders in a fight to motivate his fighting spirit.
