Exclusive: Johnny Gargano Open To WWE Return Now That Triple H Is In Control
Johnny Gargano has been one of the hottest free agents since his WWE NXT contract expired on December 10th, 2021, and fans have been wondering where we might see Johnny Wrestling make his return to the ring.
In an update as to where Johnny Gargano might end up, sources have told me that with Triple H now in control as Head of Creative in WWE that Gargano is open to a WWE return and that he would be interested in talking to Hunter and “seeing how things would be changing.”
It was also stated that Gargano was not a fan of the grind, especially with birth of their new baby. But ultimately the “overarching factor for him walking away was dissatisfaction with his position/direction with no set plan for how he’d be used.” Additionally, my sources stated that Gargano has been in talks with AEW as well.
Johnny Gargano most recently appeared as part of a live panel at Starrcast V in Nashville called “What’s NeXT? With Johnny Gargano” that was hosted by Kenny McIntosh from Inside The Ropes.
We will keep you updated if we hear anything more about Johnny Gargano’s wrestling status.
