As previously reported, there was a stabbing outside of the venue for last nights IWCNHB “The Pit 7” show.
In an update, Monroe County Reporters posted a Facebook post saying that the Monroe County Sheriffs Department are investigating at the scene. The subject was said to be stabbed multiple times and was transported to the hospital, while the suspect involved has fled. They confirmed that the victim was a male. The full quote from the post is as followed:
Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, LMR Fire, and MCA responded to the 2600 block of Blazer Road at the Veterans Hall in Maybee for a stabbing.
A male subject was stabbed multiple times in the parking lot. The victim has been transported to the hospital. The suspect involved has fled the scene. A weekend wrestling event was being held at the venue. Police are still investigating the scene. We will post more information once it’s available.
