While on a recent edition of Jake Roberts’ Snake Pit, former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Dallas Page discussed the moment Hulk Hogan was revealed as the third man. “People took that sh*t personally,” Page continued, “because they believed him.”
“When he flipped, the phones at Turner broadcasting were shut down. If [the internet] had any kind of place in the world, it shut the f*cker down.”
-DDP on Hogan’s heel turn.
Page noted that some fans were even calling for the release of Hulk Hogan, since their children “were crying.” He chuckled and noted that it worked for exactly how it was intended.
