Miesha Tate vs. Lauren Murphy Rebooked For UFC Long Island on July 16th

Originally pulled from happening at UFC 276 this weekend, a Bantamweight bout between Lauren Murphy and Miesha Tate has now been rebooked.

Per the UFC’s broadcast last Saturday night, Murphy was pulling out of her scheduled bout at UFC 276 against Tate due to undisclosed reasons, now it’s been revealed today as the UFC cited COVID-19 protocols as the reason for the fight being scratched from this weekend’s card.

Murphy would release a tweet following the bout being scratched, citing that she was open to fighting Tate if the UFC could book them on July 16th in Long Island, she was just waiting for confirmation from Tate and it looks like she got it following the UFC’s announcement.
