Matt Cardona Hoping To Return From Torn Bicep In 3 Months

Matt Cardona has a timetable of his own for his return to the ring.

Earlier this month, we found out that Matt Cardona had a torn bicep injury. He would undergo surgery and now will be out of action for a couple of months while he heals up. He was forced to relinquish the NWA World Title at Alwayz Ready last weekend but wasn’t happy about it.

Speaking to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Cardona said he hopes to be back in three months and he will keep making the towns.

“My doctor said that the recovery is five months. But my goal is three. I’m still going to be making towns. I’ve contacted every promotion I had booked, and all but two are still bringing me in because they know I sell tickets—and I rescheduled with those other two. I’m not going to be stuck at home injured. I won’t be in the ring, but this isn’t a three-month vacation. I’m just as busy as I was, even with a torn bicep,”

Time will tell if he can hit that mark but his doctor stating 5 months gives some wiggle room for the former WWE star.
