Cody Rhodes Scheduled For Surgery On Thursday

Cody Rhodes will look to get under the knife as soon as possible.

Last night at WWE Hell In A Cell we witnessed an incredible main event between Rhodes and Seth Rollins. The match was already expected to be an emotional affair but no one could have foreseen the reaction to Cody’s torn pectoral muscle. The crowd has all its voice sucked out when he revealed the bruising from the injury. Rhodes managed to tough out the match, completing it and winning.

Sean Sapp of Fightful Select reports that Cody Rhodes is going under the knife this week. His surgery is slated for Thursday to repair his torn pectoral muscle.

Sources near Rhodes state that as of this morning, Cody Rhodes is slated to undergo surgery to repair the torn pectoral muscle this Thursday. Notable pectoral injuries in pro wrestling included Triple H (five months out), Elias (five months), Hiromu Takahashi (six months), and John Cena’s miraculous recovery in less than four months.
