Its been a rollarcoaster of a week this week for MJF. He has arguably put himself in the spotlight as one of the most talked about professional wrestler on the planet at this point in time. On AEW Dynamite earlier this week MJF cut an intense promo that was well received by fans to an incredible degree. Following the promo, there has been no acknowledgement of it on AEW TV or social media.
Now it appears MJF’s erasure continues as fans noticed last night before Rampage that MJF was no longer in the opening video package prior to the show going on the air. On a show that featured CM Punk announcing he is injured, it is news that wasn’t noticed until after that drama settled down.
Time will tell how far this erasure of MJF will go before he returns to AEW TV. When he does return, he will likely be one of the focal points of AEW programming for a while. It is also interesting that AEW have mirrored how WWE have reacted to a real life issue with Sasha Banks and Naomi.
