Seth Rollins Reminds Fans He Didn’t Have An Easy Road To The WWE

Seth Rollins is in an interesting position within WWE.

The former WWE Champion has been a prominent figure of WWE programming since he debuted as part of The Shield at Survivor Series 2012. He has held many championships and has achieved almost every accolade within the promotion. However, Rollins didn’t just magically find his way to WWE. He wrestled for Ring Of Honor in particular for a long time.

While speaking on WWE Raw Talk, Booker T was asked who needed to win at WWE Hell in a Cell more, Seth Rollins or Cody Rhodes. Booker T said Rollins needs it more and claimed that he had an easy route to the top.

Rollins took to Twitter to fire back at Booker, claiming he had an anything but easy journey to the WWE:

This narrative is false. I started wrestling at 18 years old in back rooms of bars, in pole barns, at UAW Halls, the occasional parking lot. Lost money. Broke bones. Drove countless hours alone just to build a name that got erased the second I walked in the WWE door.
