Darby Allin Is Happy For Cody Rhodes: “That’s All It Comes Down To”

Darby Allin has no bad blood for Cody Rhodes regarding his AEW exit.

Cody Rhodes left AEW earlier this year and returned to the WWE at WrestleMania 38 taking on Seth Rollins. Since returning, Cody has gotten over with the WWE fans, leaving behind the boos he had in AEW. One star he had some great interactions was Darby Allin.

Allin recently sat down with New York Post for an interview. The former AEW TNT Champion spoke on the departure of Cody Rhodes from the promotion he helped formed alongside Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks.

“I’m just happy if he’s happy. That’s all it comes down to. [There are] different roads everyone can take on this journey in professional wrestling. I know I wouldn’t be happy doing anything outside of AEW because of all the free time, all the skating that I get to do, and all my side projects, and the craziness.”

“I can’t be tied down to following a schedule that much. But if he finds that happiness, that’s all that’s important. That’s all that really matters to me. It’s nobody’s business but his own.”
