There have been many names who have made the jump from WWE to AEW.
Usually the question of the jump from WWE to AEW is reserved for in ring talents, but recently Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake spoke with Wrestling Inc, where the WWE Hall of Famer was asked if he plans to join AEW. In response, Beefcake said that he is still a WWE guy, meaning that he doesn’t see himself joining the direct competition.
“Not really, I am still really kind of a WWE guy pretty much,” he stated. “I mean, helping out the guys as the comish, I am sure is not going to cause any problems. My grandson, Gino, he’s got a thing for an AEW guy, the Jungle Boy. I’ve watched some of his matches, and I actually met him at WrestleCon in Dallas, he was a real nice kid, looking forward to seeing how he’s going to fare.”

Time will tell if Brutus will show up in a wrestling promotion anytime soon.
