Kevin Owens Asked The Young Bucks To Help Cody Rhodes Following WWE Release

“From undesirable to undeniable” has been a frequent phrase in the WWE since Cody Rhodes debuted at Wrestlemania 38.

While this may not be completely true in the fact that his first WWE run had some incredible moments, he was eventually released following a dire run as Stardust and a request to be released in 2016. At that time, Kevin Owens was tearing it up at the top of the card. When Cody was released from the WWE, he had never been on the independent scene before and he would soon learn how much that could be accomplished outside of the WWE, and it all started with a little help from Kevin Owens, who explained on the After The Bell Podcast:

“He asked me for some sort of guidance because he had never been on the independent scene before, & I gave him The Young Bucks’ numbers & I told them ‘can you guys take care of this guy?”

Obviously, Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks ended up being a partnership that would lead to the formation of All Elite Wrestling and of course, lead to Cody becoming undeniable as a top important star in any promotion as we saw at Wrestlemania 38. Kevin Owens reaching out to The Young Bucks to help out a friend is also the wholesome content we need more of in this day and age. Also on the show, KO spoke about Sami Zayn’s match with Johnny Knoxville, Matthew McConaughey and more.
