WXW Stars Set To Compete For A Spot In PROGRESS Super Strong Style 16

PROGRESS’ premiere 3 day tournament Super Strong Style 16 returns on the 3rd of June to the 5th of June. Super Strong Style 16 attracts some of the best independent wrestlers from around the world, only one competitor for this years tournament has been announced so far, recent AEW signing Swerve The Realist.

Gene Munny was set to face current PROGRESS World Champion Jonathan Gresham for a spot in the upcoming tournament at this past weekends Atlas tournament, unfortunately Gresham had to pull out of the show due to injury and their match was rescheduled for Chapter 134 on May 15th.

This will not be the only Super Strong Style 16 qualifying match at Chapter 134: No Mountain High Enough as announced during the Atlas Weekend, 4 superstars from wXw Germany will also compete for a spot in this years tournament.

Including current wXw Unified World Champion Jurn Simmons, former WWE superstar Axel Tischer (fka Alexander Wolfe) the current wXw Shotgun Champion Maggot and former longest reigning wXw Unified Champion Bobby Gunns.

Progress Chapter 134:No Mountain High Enough is set to take place on the 15th May at the Electric Ballroom in London, other matches announced include Spike Trivet vs Cara Noir and Ricky Knight Jr vs Leon Slater.
