Gabriel Kidd recently graduated from the LA Dojo and has currently been on tour in the UK where he has had some phenomenal matches against Francisco Akira, Yota Tsuji and Mark Haskins for Rev Pro UK, Wrestle carnival and North Wrestling NCL respectively.
Whilst in the UK Kidd made an appearance on the Wres Things podcast where he had a lot to say about a certain group of Wrestlers being called the Four Pillars of AEW.
“I’ll Just say this right now, there’s 4 people, there’s this thing and I just see, I don’t follow any like dirt sheets or anything like that but I see people re-tweet shit and I see that people are calling a certain group of people in AEW the four Pillars. And this is fucking embarrassing to me like the fact that they are being called the four pillars, there are Taue (Akira), Kobashi (Kenta) Kawada (Toshiaki) and Misawa (Mitsuharu) the levels of that and then the 4 people that they’re being called the four pillars of AEW how you talking that. You’re being a fan you’re being a mark for yourselves you’re being an idiot, you call yourself a four pillar, shut the fuck up, none of you are four pillars”

Referring to Sammy Guevera, Darby Allin, Jungle Boy and MJF, Kidd seemingly feels insulted that they’re being called the Four Pillars feeling as if they haven’t earned that moniker when compared to the original 4 pillars of Noah
Although Kidd had gotten confused thinking Lee Moriaty and Daniel Garcia were part of four pillars but the Wres Things host corrected him stating that they have been part of another group of 4 people that have dubbed by the internet the 4 killers.
This group also included Kevin Blackwood and Wheeler Yuta, being referred to as the 4 Killers due to their technical wrestling skills and ability here is what Kidd had to say about that;
“It applies to both of them you put say of those any 4 people in world against Gabriel Kidd, Clark Conners and Alex Coughlin and Karl Fredericks, the four Killers do you think Lee Moriaty Isn’t gonna do shit. MJF tried to fuck with me in 2019 and I bitched him out if you’ve got a problem with me come and find me. I can look at them and respect them as wrestlers but when its against me it’s a different story, people are talking about Daniel Garcia and Lee Moriaty are the best technical wrestlers, first of all let me just tell you one thing I’m Fucking British bruv.”

Regarding the “I am British” Kidd was referring to long lineage incredible technical of Wrestlers that have come from British Wrestling such as Dynamite Kidd, Billy Robinson, William Regal, Doug Williams and modern stars such as Zack Sabre Jr and Pete Dunne.
Kidd did not go into any details as to what occured between himself and MJF back in 2019 but it obviously upset the British superstar.

Its unclear if Kidd was shooting or possibly angling for match against any of the competitors whether it be on AEW or NJPW strong or even a 4 Pillars vs the 4 LA Dojo Graduates. Kidd leaves the UK for the USA shortly as he is due to compete against Christopher Daniels at NJPW’s Strong Rivals on the 17th of February.
