WWE Releases Jeff Hardy

WWE has come to terms with the release of 3x World Champion Jeff Hardy according to Sean Sapp of Fightful. Jeff, who had been in the news recently for his performance at a house show, had been sent home by the company. His brother Matt had noted that Jeff is doing okay during a twitch stream earlier this week. Bodyslam reported the incident earlier this week.

Jeff Hardy has won 23 championships in WWE and was one of their most decorated performers, but his personal issues have been well-documented. Jeff had previously left the company on two other occasions due to his struggles with addiction. Bodyslam wishes Jeff the best in any adversity he may be facing during this time.

Jeff still regularly gets one of the loudest reactions in the company on a week-to-week basis despite being in the twilight of his career. Hardy returned to WWE after an eight year absence in 2017. Jeff had recently been featured on Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions on Peacock where they talked in-depth on his battles with addiction. Bodyslam hopes everything is good with Jeff Hardy at this time.
