Although Kairi Sane stopped wrestling in 2020 as she returned to Japan to be with her husband, she remained with WWE as an ambassador in the country.
Kairi has now removed “WWE” from her Instagram username. Her Twitter handle still is ‘@KairiSaneWWE’, but it’s worth noting that changes to Twitter names can affect verification status, so it is possible that is why that username remains the same.
Both Kairi’s Instagram and Twitter bios have been changed to note that she’s a ‘Former WWE Superstar’, however. These changes appear to hint that Kairi has left WWE. Neither WWE or Kairi have confirmed her departure, as of this writing.
Kairi would also recently hint at a return to the ring on Twitter, replying to a user who noted that he wants to see her wrestle again:
