Progress and Rev Pro UK Star Ethan Allen Out Of Action For A Couple Months

Progress and Rev Pro UK Star Ethan Allen was unfortunately injured during a match last night at a Catch Pro Wrestling show. Ethan Allen was competing in the Main Event of Night 2 of the Catch Pro’s Enygma series, teaming with North West Strong team mate Scott Oberman against Lykos Gym’s Kid Lykos and Kid Lykos II.

Allen seemingly picked up the injury after an innocuous knock to the knee according to one fan but it was quickly known to be a serious issue when Allen could not finish the match and had to be taken back stage. Lykos Gym, not wanting to leave the crowd with out a main event match had an impromptu match, for the first time ever Kid Lykos and Kid Lykos II had a singles match against each other.

Allen took to twitter earlier today to update his fans with regards to his condition, letting fans know that fortunately their was no ligament damage and it was minor sprain and that he is hopeful that with physio he could be back in action in a couple months.

Allen has been a regular fixture of Progress Wrestling since their return, competing in the Natural Progression series and as part of the tag team tournament, as a part of the Young Guns with Luke Jacobs where they faced Lykos Gym in the finals. Both members of Young Guns have continued to be a big part of Progress as part of North West Strong along with Chris Ridgeway.

Allen made his debut for Rev Pro UK as part of the Young Guns earlier this year in their Great British Tag League. The Young Guns were also the hand picked opponents upon Aussie Open’s return to the UK at the Rev Pro UK’s Ninth Anniversary show and have since been embroiled in a programme with Will Ospreay’s United Empire.
