Today’s edition is set to feature two huge title matches, with Moustache Mountain set to face NXT UK Tag Team Champions Pretty Deadly plus Meiko Satomura is set to defend her NXT UK Women’s Championship against Stevie Turner.
This will mark the first time Moustache Mountain have challenged for the NXT UK championships since the NXT UK tag team tournament to crown inaugural champions in which they were defeated by the Grizzled Young Veterans at the NXT Takeover Blackpool in 2019. Tyler Bate will be the first NXT UK competitor to complete the NXT UK Grand Slam of the NXT UK Champion, Heritage Champion and Tag Team Champion and the first possible championship for Trent Seven should Moustache Mountain come out the Victors. Pretty Deadly, Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley won the championships earlier this year from the Gallus team of Mark Coffey and Wolfgang they have successfully defended their titles on two occasions defeating Amir Jordan and Kenny Williams and more recently the Sub Culture team.
Meiko Satomura recently put it out to the NXT UK’s Women’s Division that they needed to step up to her challenge to find new worthy contenders for the NXT UK Championship, Stevie Turner was the first to do so telling Satomura she did not think Meiko could beat her. Meiko Satomura recently became NXT UK women’s Champion not long after her debut for the NXT UK brand defeating Kay Lee Ray on a second attempt. Stevie Turner also recently debuted for NXT UK women’s division and despite a loosing start, has been dominant in her two most recent outings but does she have what it takes to topple the final boss.
