Could Adam Cole Be On His Way Out Of WWE?

In 2017 Adam Cole was touted as one of the hottest free agents in the Wrestling World after his run with Ring Of Honor. Since his debut on the NXT brand, he has been on an upward trajectory, and his star power has grown enormously since leading the Undisputed Era faction, whose members included the likes of Bobby Fish, Kyle Oreily, and Rodrick Strong.

Well if reports are to be believed all that could be a mere memory as we could possibly see Cole on his way out of the NXT brand and even possibly the WWE. According to Wrestling Inc, Adam Coles’s contract will be expiring at the end of this month right after SummerSlam one of WWE’s biggest shows. It was said his contract originally expired after The Great American Bash but he worked out a small extension.

According to FightFul Select, more details regarding his contract were given.

“A major contract was expiring recently in that of the former NXT champion Adam Cole. Wrsetling Inc reported that the Coles deal is up after SummerSlam However. We’ve learned there was an assumption internally that Coles’s WWE contract expired in December, but WWE sources have reached out and noted that they became aware that the deal was actually up in early July. Despite that, Were told Cole expressed to WWE that he was willing to work throughout SummerSlam and then re-evaluate things. WWE sources put over Cole for being open to doing that as opposed to just appearing on another program without any notice by WWE. There was once word within WWE that cole had actually signed a new deal when the USA network agreement came to be, but that was not the case, despite the internal rumors.”

Adam Cole definitely has many options outside of the WWE, as it is noted he has much previous history with the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega as he was a part of the Bullet Club. Cole has nothing but momentum on his side no matter the decision he makes, we will have to see what the future has in store for Cole.
