WWE struggled in the video game market with the critical failure of WWE 2k20. Now they’re trying to make that right.
Tonight at WrestleMania, WWE returned to the 2k series after taking a year off and releasing WWE Battlegrounds for all major game systems by dropping the trailer for WWE 2k22. Focused on Rey Mysterio, the trailer shows several other WWE Superstars and while not releasing an announce date, it seems like they’ve prepared to tease the fans that they’ve fixed the issues that plagued the last iteration of the series.
