Christian Cage is All Elite

On Revolution, Paul Wight announced the signing of Christian Cage to All Elite Wrestling. The signing of Cage was hyped up by Paul Wight during last week’s episode of Dynamite. The announcement of Cage has left some fans disappointed because of the expectation of being someone like CM Punk or Brock Lesnar.

First of all, AEW signing Cage was the right thing to do. Cage has a lot of experience to offer to this very young promotion. Having someone with the experience that Cage has is always good to have around when needed.

Is Cage a HOF level talent? Absolutely! Cage can bring his knowledge to the young roster of AEW and help in the long run. Thinking Cage is not a big deal is a big mistake.

CM Punk and Brock Lesnar would’ve been awesome signees for AEW, but also unrealistic if you think about them. Focusing on them and not on Cage is also a huge mistake. The people disappointed about Cage’s signing to AEW are not seeing this in the long run and how this could help AEW big time.

Christian Cage did the right move by joining AEW. Staying in WWE would’ve meant he would be overshadowed by Edge and probably have a feud between the two and staying a part-time wrestler. Cage comes with a lot of energy to help and up over young talent and that’s all you should ask about veteran wrestlers.

Cage can work in any part of the card, from the main event of a PPV to putting over young wrestlers on Dark. It all depends how will Cage be presented and by the looks of it he will be on the top of the card.

The next step it will be who will be Cage’s first opponent and feud. Probably a feud with Omega for the AEW championship leading to a PPV match on Double or Nothing could be the answer to this.
