Progress Wrestling Returning With Natural Progression Series

British Wrestling promotion Progress will be returning to action with Chapter 104 Natural Progression on Saturday the 20th , Progress Wrestling’s last show Chapter 103 Beer Snake City, took place almost a full year ago, on the 23rd of February. The show will be aired on both the WWE Network as well as Progress’ own V.O.D streaming site Demand Progress at 8pm GMT/3pm ET, Chapter 105 “Bring the Thunder” will air a week later and will feature the first ever women’s Thunder Bastard match.

Progress wrestling will be returning with their Natural Progression series, an annual tournament series that features the best of young British talent from across the country, notable winners include Mark Andrews, “Flash” Morgan Webster and Toni Storm. This year’s series is no different and will feature; Man Like Dereiss, Danny Black, Warren Banks, Big Guns Joe, Elijah, Luke Jacobs, Ethan Allen and Kid Lykos II.

There will also be a whole new team hosting and commentating for the shows, with British Independent stand out and Progress favourite Roy “Big Wavy” Johnson taking over hosting duties and Independent stars Hustle Malone and Charles Crowley taking over in the commentary booth. Chapter 104 will also feature the first round matches for the Natural Progression series the show will aslo feature Progress Champion Cara Noir and independent star Gene Munny, as well as match between to womens stars Millie McKenzie and Mercedez Blaze.

The announcement was made via Alex McCarthy of Talk Sport early today and it comes off the back of a turbulent year for British Wrestling caused by both the Covid Pandemic, which sent the UK into lockdowns and also the #SpeakingOut movement following later in the year. With this relaunch Progress have made it known that they are doing so with a new management team, new safeguarding in place and a new manifesto highlighting their intentions to provide a safe & nurturing environment for talent, audiences & backstage workers alike.
