Potential WrestleMania Plans For Damian Priest Revealed

Damian Priest finally arrived on the main roster back at the Royal Rumble, and it looks like he’s already in a high profile program with The Miz, John Morrison, and Bad Bunny. It’s the kind of angle that’s already garnered mainstream attention, considering Bad Bunny’s global popularity. It’s already said that Bunny’s preparing for a match at WrestleMania, and it seems like Priest is in those plans indeed.

Now the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that this potential match where Priest will team with Bad Bunny against Miz and Morrison at Mania will get something huge for Priest in return. Not only is it hoping to help with a huge push for Priest, but get him over with the Latino community by his association with the pop star.

The idea is Priest will get the rub in the Latino community in particular of being Bunny’s tag team partner.

Just a few weeks ago, the plan for Priest was to debut on SmackDown as a friend of Kevin Owens. The plan was changed due to Kevin Owens feeling it didn’t make sense creatively, who also got the support of Roman Reigns, who has heavy creative influence. While it seemed like an unfortunate stall now, it may have been a blessing in disguise for Priest, who is looking to be in a significantly better position now on Raw.
