Bad Bunny Is Currently WWE’s Top Selling Merchandise Of The Year

Many WWE fans have underestimated the star power Bad Bunny brings to the WWE. Despite some arguments fans have made that he isn’t “that famous,” Bad Bunny’s track record features him having the first all-Spanish language album to top the US Billboard 200, a Billboard Global 200 number one single, and became the first non-English language artist to be the most streamed artist on Spotify in 2020. Bad Bunny’s list of accolades prove he’s not just a star in the United States, but all over the globe. Jake Atlas even clapped back at fans who didn’t see the actual star power he brings to the company, but he now has some heavy stats to back it up.

License Global, a website and magazine that tracks brands and brand licensing, reveals that WWE’s best selling merchandise of the year so far is Bad Bunny’s WWE Shop collaboration. The merchandise for the Royal Rumble has been hot selling items, including t-shirts, a hoodie, and a poster. While it’s still just February and WrestleMania is around the corner, it speaks a lot to his brand power that he has already surpassed some of the company’s top merch sellers like Roman Reigns, John Cena, and others.

The merch for him might keep coming as well, as it seems he’s in the process of training for a match at some point. He’s been spotted at the WWE Performance Center training for what could be a potential match against John Morrison and The Miz. If that match is scheduled for WrestleMania, one can only imagine Bad Bunny’s Mania merch could potentially top the sales he’s already had with the company.
