SmackDown Sees Small Drop In Ratings In Final Show Before Royal Rumble

Last night’s SmackDown was the last television show they had to get things in order for Sunday’s Royal Rumble. With its ratings on the rise recently, how did Friday Night Smackdown do?

Showbuzz Daily has reported last night’s show drew an overnight of 2.2275 million viewers with 2.294 in the first hour and 2.161 in the second, with a .6 in the 18-49 demographic. This is a drop from last week’s average of 2.282, but not a big drop, and it is still larger than the prior week’s 2.153 million.

They continue to be regaining viewers after a big 3.335 million viewers on Christmas Day, but Christmas was lifted by a lead in from the NFL. SmackDown continues to do good numbers on Fox, and won the key demographic for adults 18-49 on network prime time.
