Jackass 4 has begun production, and if he has his way, an AEW star will find himself working with Johnny Knoxville and the guys.
Darby Allin has already shown he’s good friends with Steve-O, and the star of the old MTV show and movies has appeared on AEW Dynamite in vignettes with Allin before. Speaking with Absolute Hustle, Allin revealed he would love to be part of Jackass 4 and even told the company he wanted time off if asked to take part. Not only does he think it would be big for AEW, but for himself as well.
“The one would be Jackass 4 and I have talked to people and I’m like, ‘hey, If this happens, I will have to have time off.’ Not only is this going to help the AEW brand and it’s pop culture, it’s going to help my mind.” “It’s a bucket list thing, for sure. I’ve talked to Steve-O about it. Everything is so crazy with COVID they can’t even start filming. They were like a week or two into filming when it got shut down and now they’ve been holding it off.”
Production got shut down on Jackass 4 days into production after a stunt went wrong and both Steve-O and Johnny Knoxville were hospitalized. Given the kind of stunts we’ve seen Allin do in his vignettes for AEW, one can only imagine what he’d do with the boys from Jackass in their next feature film.
