Big E Discussed How Part Timers Take Priority Over Full Time Wrestlers At WrestleMania

The success of Big E’s singles run on SmackDown has had some fans clamoring for the idea of him facing Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. Obviously fans want to see it, but what does Big E think about it?

Big E had a chance to talk to Sirius XM’s Busted Open podcast, and while he was open that he’s not someone to turn down an opportunity, he called the company out for putting part timers first in those kind of matches at WrestleMania and they don’t just choose one. They go through a list of those part timers before they get to the guys who are keeping the company afloat weekly.

If the company doesn’t get a part timer to be the one to face Roman Reigns, they might just give a guy like Big E a chance.

“You know in the same vein, I’m not here to turn down any opportunity that comes my way either. You also know how it is man, they’re going to go through a list of part-timers, the big names the big money guys who work once a year, and they’re gonna go through that list. If they can’t get all those guys booked for that Roman spot for WrestleMania, then it’s kind of like now, who do we look to that works here on a weekly basis, who’s actually been grinding. And now maybe we give them an opportunity.”

It’s easy to be frustrated with things like that, and it certainly seems like Big E is frustrated by being pushed aside in favor of someone who only works once a year. And while it’s already been said that Big E vs. Roman Reigns has not been in discussion for WrestleMania, the fact that WWE has nothing really scheduled for the show means there’s still an opportunity to see it happen.
