Lawsuit Filed By Joey Ryan Against One Of His Accusers Dismissed

Joey Ryan’s attempt to get restitution from his accusers from the Speaking Out movement has taken another blow, as one of his cases has been dismissed.

Days after Ryan had his libel case against former Ring of Honor wrestler Pelle Primeau transferred to the Eastern District of Pennsylvania following its dismissal in California, Ryan’s lawsuit against one of his accusers was dismissed due to “lack of prosecution.”

After being warned this would happen in a court date on December 7th, Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald dismissed the case for those exact reasons. Heel By Nature obtained documents stating Ryan did not file documentation to support his case, resulting in the dismissal.

The case was dismissed without prejudice, meaning that Ryan has the option to refile. This is a common response when a case has procedural or technical problems with the filing that can be corrected. So if Ryan can find and file documentation to support his case, he may refile the case against his accuser.
