Update On Marty Scurll’s Future Following ROH Release

Marty Scurll is at a crossroads.

The former Ring of Honor talent was revealed to have parted ways with the company just days ago. While many speculate it has a lot to do with the results of an internal investigation done by Sinclair Broadcasting, there has been no indication the investigation ever came to a conclusion, or what the results were if it had been completed.

Now the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that Marty Scurll may be forced to leave the United States. Scurll owns a home in Florida, but without a job, he might not be able to remain a resident of the US.

There is a big issue for Scurll, who owns a home in Florida, is that if he’s not working in the U.S. he may also have to leave the country.

Scurll admitted to having a consensual intercourse with a 16-year old girl when he was 26-years old, which was legal in the UK at the time of the relationship, but as the Speaking Out movement began, there were allegations the girl was intoxicated when she agreed to the encounter.

The WWE is said to have interest in Scurll potentially, and obviously he has friends in AEW, but the allegations are said to be a source of conflict on whether or not to sign him.
