There has been a lot of questions about Mickie James’ status with the WWE thanks to Legends Night on Raw. She had been advertised to appear like several of the legends, and this was her first appearance since September, when James had a freak finish to her match with Asuka.
While many assumed this was their way of moving James to an inactive role as a WWE Legend, it seems like that isn’t the case at all. Inside the Ropes has reported James is still listed on the active roster and is now cleared from an injury she sustained in October.
WWE has been cutting down on using a lot of talents, considering that many of them would see a lot of work on the live event scene. With no live events, WWE is using the television time for their top stars, leaving a lot of people to remain on the sidelines. While Mickie could always come back for a match or two, it seems she is currently just stuck on the sidelines with creative having nothing for her.
