Matt Hardy Offers Opinion On Riddle And Jeff Hardy’s “Hardy Bros” Team

Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy have always been an incredibly successful tag team. Unlike most teams, both brothers have experienced great success as singles stars as well, and seem to be doing just fine on their own currently.

Matt has entered a new phase in his career in All Elite Wrestling, enjoying a great degree of creative freedom while Jeff is thriving as an important figure on Monday Night Raw. Even if he’s not in contention for a top title, he’s getting featured air time on Raw as he pals around with Matt Riddle, who has jokingly dubbed the team the Hardy Bros. While Jeff and Riddle seem to be enjoying the fun, one person who doesn’t seem to be a fan is Jeff’s brother Matt.

Hardy posted a video on YouTube recently, where he offered his opinion on The Hardy Bros, comparing them to the Fake Razor Ramon and Fake Diesel Vince McMahon once used after Scott Hall and Kevin Nash left the company. As you can only imagine, it wasn’t in a flattering way.

“Vince McMahon is so obsessed with the greatness and the popularity and the success of the Hardy Boyz that he’s created The Hardy Bros. He’s put together another guy named Matt with my brother, Jeff, to try and recreate the magic that we once had. He’s trying to confuse the marketplace because he so wishes he still had the Hardy Boyz. The Hardy Bros with Jeff and Matt Riddle that’s not gonna work. You would’ve had a better chance with a Fake Razor and Fake Diesel.”

While there is probably some truth to Matt’s opinion, it’s also a good chance this video is equal parts honest opinion and in his current “ICONIC” Matt Hardy gimmick. Jeff and Riddle are far from a full time tag team, but depending how long the duo lasts, we may find out if Matt has a point. You can watch the video below.
