Lana was supposed to challenge Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles by partnering up with Asuka and compete at WWE TLC. However, she was put on the shelf by Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler on the RAW prior to the event.
Charlotte Flair took her place at the pay-per-view. Together she and Asuka won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. Lana is likely to miss three to four weeks of TV time.
Lana recently took to Instagram, where she uploaded two photos of herself with the caption “Piss off 2020. #happynewyear everyone,”.
She was wearing braces for her arm and leg in the photos, which was a cause for concern for many fans as they thought they might actually be injured.
It is unclear whether she is legitimately injured or not. We will have to wait and see what WWE does with Lana once she is back.
