This week’s NXT UK had a blockbuster main event for the Tag Team Championship with Eddie Dennis’ the Hunt (Wild Boar and Primate) facing off against the Champions Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang). The night kicks off with action right of the bat, with Isla Dawn taking on NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray in a no title match.
Isla Dawn Vs Kay Lee Ray
The match started with the two ladies locking up but it didn’t take long for Kay Lee Ray to unleash her vicious side, Isla Dawn fires back with pitch perfect kicks and knees rocking the Champion. Dawn hit her high angle back drop suplex which she used to put Xia Brookside away last week, however she is only able to get a two count as Kay Lee Ray kicks out, they start to trade moves back and forth, in the end Kay Lee Ray hits her Gory Bomb finisher and gets the three count for the pin fall victory.
Kay Lee Ray then delivers a promo for the UK women’s division letting the world know that they will have to get used to her as champion as she is going to be champion for long time.
Ben Carter is coming to to NXT UK
Superstars such as William Regal, Seth Rollins, Ashton Smith and more talk very highly of Ben Carter as they hype up his signing with NXT UK
Ilja Draganov speaks for the very first time since his defeat against NXT UK Champion Walter in a video package, he promises to return to the ring soon, starting from the very beginning once more.
Levi Muir and Jack Starz Vs Saxon Huxley
Muir is able to to match the strength but Huxley is wild and unorthodox as he is able to slap Muir out of the sky. Starz is able to get the tag and with Muir and they were able to double team Huxley. Starz was not able to maintain control for long as Huxley literately threw Starz across the ring before taking out Muir on the apron then again on the outside. Starz is able to get enough space to tag Muir who comes in like house on fire showing off his incredible strength, catching Huxley in mid air and hitting a slam. Muir and Starz are able to work together again, as Starz managed to get Huxley in a pinning predicament and actually getting the pin fall.
After the match Huxley continues the assault on both Starz and Muir
Dave Mastiff comes out from the back to help the two young stars, Huxley and Mastiff start brawling to the back and eventually Mastiff runs Huxley off.
Piper Niven shows Sid Scalla security camera footage of her self working out, whilst she was off camera someone brought out a container that had chair in it, the chair had a note on it from Jinny, Piper then demanded a match against Jinny. A match is made for three weeks time and it will be No. 1 contenders match.
A-Kid delivers a promo in the ring about winning the Heritage Cup and defeating his mentor and that he is now ready to take the next step forward, stating that he wants to take on Walter for the NXT UK title. Walter heads down to the ring to talk with A-Kid about respecting the ring and that he was impressed with A-Kids performance in the Heritage Cup but he then chastised A-Kid for coming into the ring and calling him out.
Kenny Williams is in the trainers room with unfortunate news for Amir Jordan, he tells him that his injury will keep him out the ring for while but he will be there for Amir Jordan helping him with his single run.
Trent Seven speaks back stage for the first time since loosing the heritage cup final, he talks about his disappointment before praising A-Kid for his technical prowess. He would then talk about possibly putting too much pressure on himself regarding the heritage cup and this took his focus away from the match. He then delivers a shocking statement that for now he will be taking some time off away from the ring.
Rampage Brown Vs Josh Morrel
Rampage shows his power early in the match, launching Josh morrel high into the sky before he crashed down to the mat, Rampage would dominate the young star, rag-dolling him around the ring.
However Morrel would bounce back, showing some incredible athleticism surprising Rampage by stringing together some offence. In the end though Rampage managed to catch Morrel with a clothesline, then a power bomb followed by his Doctor Bomb to get the pin fall victory.
Sid Scalla delivers some breaking news from back stage, following the confrontation between Walter and A-Kid earlier, he has spoken to Johnny Saint and with all parties agreed, A-Kid will face Walter for the NXT UK championship in the new year.

Challengers Eddie Dennis’ The Hunt Vs Champions Gallus
With very little TV time left, Primate jumped started the match at the sound of bell viciously attacking Wolfgang whilst also knocking Coffey of the apron. Primate sent Wolfgang into the Hunts corner tagging Wild Boar, the two continued his assault on Wolfgang trapped in the corner. Wolfgang managed to power out and Gallus start to dominate with their strength and power as both Wolfgang and Coffey try to isolate Boar. Dennis makes his presence known distracting Coffey allowing Boar to tag Primate in who is able to show off his own strength, lifting and slamming Coffey. Boar and Primate are able to work together but they are unable to finish Coffey off, they do everything they can to stop Coffey from making the tag to Wolfgang but to no end, Coffey is able to get the tag. Wolfgang comes out like wild man, Dennis tries to get involved again, Joe Coffey comes out from the back and takes Dennis out. In the ring as the Hunt were a-top the ropes about to hit their double diving headbutt, however Mark Andrews and “Flash” Morgan Webster come out of nowhere to push the Hunt off the ropes.
Mark and Wolfgang take advantage of the situation hitting their finisher on Boar to get the three count retaining their tag team championships.
Following the match Pretty Deadly head down to the ring side to confront Gallus, right behind them are Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter and the two teams square off, Smith and Carter are able to throw Pretty Deadly into the ring where they then taken out by the Gallus boys who then throw them back out of the ring.
Another action packed week for NXT UK with plenty more to look forward too in the coming weeks, including Piper Vs Jinny and the NXT championship match between Walter and A-Kid, plus the tag team division is ready to explode. You can catch the latest episode of NXT UK on the WWE Network.
