Internal Expectations For AEW And IMPACT Wrestling’s Partnership

Don Callis made his second appearance for AEW last night on Dynamite and it was far more memorable than his first. After doing a simple job of doing commentary for the Adam Page/Kenny Omega match at Full Gear, Callis returned to do the same on Dynamite.

However, it turned out to be a ruse as he played a factor in the finish of last night’s World Title match between Omega and Jon Moxley, leading him to reveal at the end of the night Omega would explain his actions and more on Impact Wrestling this Tuesday night.

A report by Fightful Select reveals only “some people in Impact Wrestling had heard of the news” about Callis working with AEW but had been told by management “there wasn’t much to it.”

The general knowledge had been people knew Callis would be working an angle but had no idea of that extent.

Currently, it’s said nobody expects a “full crossover” but there’s a lot of talent happy in Impact because of all the buzz this story is currently generating.
