KENTA is starting to feel a little impatient when it comes to Jon Moxley.
The New Japan star and Bullet Club member has a briefcase entitling him to a title shot for the IWGP U.S. Championship, currently held by AEW World Champion Jon Moxley. Unfortunately, Moxley hasn’t been able to make it to New Japan since February to defend the title, and Tony Khan recently confirmed Moxley is not working the upcoming Wrestle Kingdom event at the Tokyo Dome.
With tonight’s big Winter Is Coming episode of Dynamite, there’s a lot of eyes on the main event of Moxley against Kenny Omega for the AEW World Title and one of them is KENTA himself. Kenta shot out a tweet showing that he’s just as interested in the match.
Tony Khan has been optimistic on the idea of AEW and New Japan working together, and a surprise appearance by KENTA could lead to the start of that partnership. A surprise appearance by KENTA could not only signal the start of that partnership, but could also answer the question as to who was the mystery attacker of Moxley just a few short weeks ago.
