NXT has found a nice home during the pandemic at the Capitol Wrestling Center. However, with the size of the venue, many fans have wondered if they will be holding their next big event, NXT: War Games, at the venue.
It looks like a snug fit with one ring as it stands, and the War Games structure requires two rings along with the cage structure. We now have an answer about whether or not we will see the event at the CWC and the answer is yes.
Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful has reported on Twitter and said that he’s spoken to talent that has told him War Games will be at the CWC. It might be a tight fit, but it looks like it will happen. Most of the card looks finalized, and you can see that below.
- War Games Match: Team Shotzi (Shotzi Blackheart, Ember Moon, ?, ?) v. Team LeRae (Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai, Toni Storm, Raquel Gonzalez)
- War Games Match: The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish, Roderick Strong) vs. Team McAfee (Pat McAfee, Pete Dunne, Danny Burch, Oney Lorcan)
- North American Title Match: Leon Ruff (c) vs. Johnny Gargano vs. Damian Priest
- Strap Match: Dexter Lumis vs. Cameron Grimes
