Dynamite And NXT Face Heavy Competition For Ratings Wednesday Night

NXT and Dynamite usually find themselves the biggest competition either has on a Wednesday night. Even when the NBA pushed their season back and into the summer, TNT moved Dynamite around in favor of the playoffs and NXT ran unopposed.

Now the two have unexpected competition this Wednesday in the form of the NFL.

Earlier today, the NFL moved the postponed Ravens/Steelers game from Thanksgiving to Wednesday night. It was originally scheduled for Tuesday, but plans once again changed. Now AEW and NXT will have to go head to head with a rivalry game where not only are playoff spots on the line, but they are two of the top teams in the AFC. The Ravens are just short of a Wild Card position and a win would vault them into a tie for a Wild Card spot and also give their top rival Steelers their first loss of the year. The game has compelling story lines no matter what due to the rivalry, but all the added layers only make it a top game this late in the season.

NXT is presenting their go home show before War Games and AEW has already stacked Dynamite by announcing several huge matches, headlines by the Kenny Omega v. Jon Moxley World Title match. This Wednesday will be big television for many people, so NXT and AEW will have to deliver to get eyes on their show over the NFL.
