Details On What Vince McMahon Changed From Last Night’s SmackDown Script

WWE had quite a day putting together SmackDown. While this is nothing new, Ringside News has offered several details that can explain how the day was thrown into chaos.

Vince McMahon was apparently late for the show, arriving at 12:30pm, and there had been a lot of waiting around for him by producers and creative. That waiting came from knowing Vince would change things as he usually does.

Their report went on to say that “a lot was changed, but less than usual.” Of course, this is also compared to a recent week where Vince tore the whole script up and made them start from scratch.

They did get to speak with a tenured member of their creative team, and their source went on to tell them a major thing that was changed were things involving Roman Reigns. This is not atypical, as Reigns, Paul Heyman, and Vince McMahon “do that well.”

One change that was noted was the finish of the Daniel Bryan and Sami Zayn match. They didn’t say what the finish was supposed to be originally, but the finish on air was not what was originally written in the initial script for the show.
