Son Of Rick Steiner Receives WWE Tryout

The WWE has had several second generation stars on their roster, and there soon could be one more.

Bronson Rechsteiner is a former college football player, having played running back for the Kennesaw State University football team. He later went on to play for the Baltimore Ravens until he was waived, and he’s also the son of former WWE Tag Team Champion Rick Steiner.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Rechsteiner recently had a tryout with the company. They didn’t note how it went, but Rechsteiner’s size and pedigree make him a good candidate to at least get a serious look. The former football player is 6′ and 230 pounds, which definitely gives him the size the company looks for. Add in the family roots, and you’re looking at a combination that might be hard for Vince McMahon and company to resist.

He’s previously said he’s open to the idea when his football career is over, but with the recent cut from the Ravens, that might be sooner than later. If he gets signed, let’s hope he has a career as successful as his father’s.
