More On Taz’s Son Hook’s Background And Wrestling Training

On last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite we saw the debut of Taz’s son, Hook. It was also reported that same day, that Hook had filed trademark rights for the name.

During the segment involving Taz and Cody Rhodes, Cody revealed that Hook has been training to wrestle with him and QT Marshall at the Nightmare Factory in Atlanta. However, it appears as though that isn’t the first school that Hook has trained with.

In the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was reported that prior to moving to Atlanta and training with Cody and QT at the Nightmare Factory, Hook had been training with WWE Backstage Producer Pat Buck, and Former WWE Superstar Curt Hawkins, who is currently wrestling with IMPACT as Brian Myers at their wrestling school Create-A-Pro.

Hook is also a former All-State Lacrosse player while in high school, and was even ranked 74th in the nation. He then went on to play at the collegiate level for Bucknell University, as well as Sacred Heart University.
