Survivor Series is this Sunday and SmackDown has yet to round out their men’s and women’s teams for the traditional Survivor Series matches. With one slot left on each team, this Friday should determine who makes the team.
It seems they’ve already decided who the final man will be.
Fightful Select has reported that the plan is for Big E to win the final slot on the men’s team and that has been in the cards “weeks ago.”
There was a plan for his qualifying match to air on the November 13 episode of Smackdown before it was pulled due to time constraints.
They still plan on making this happen, so it’s almost certain he will make his way onto the team this Friday on SmackDown. Considering it’s the go home show before Survivor Series, there’s little opportunity to work him onto the team in a match. So something should be expected Friday night, hopefully not cut for time this week.
