After the recent UFC Fight Night, Dana White dropped the bombshell that the current middleweight champion would be taking on the current Light Heavyweight champion for his belt.
There is currently no scheduled date for this fight but it would be safe to assume it will be mid-2021.
It’s believed the belt exchange will only work one way as opposed to a winner-takes-all situation. Adesanya can win Blachowicz’s belt but he cannot lose his own.
