WWE has several storylines planned at any given time, but as is the case in the company, some stories get changed at any moment and it seems that is what happened with Otis.
According to a report by Ringside News, the plan for Otis losing the Money In The Bank briefcase to The Miz was made all of a sudden. WWE was simply looking to shock fans with a decision and that is exactly why Otis won the briefcase in the first place.
They were also told by a member of WWE Creative that “it’s really as stupid and insane and impatient and impetuous as that.”
We will have to see when The Miz cashes in his MITB briefcase.
