NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 15 To Be Limited To 20,000 Fans

New Japan Pro Wrestling’s biggest night (Well Nights Now) of the year is undoubtedly Wrestle Kingdom, held every year at the Tokyo Dome. The Tokyo Dome usually has the capability to hold around 50,000 fans however due to Covid 19 admittance to this years Wrestle Kingdom will be restricted and therefore fan attendance will be limited to just 20,000.

Next year’s Wrestle Kingdom will once again be held over 2 nights, night 1 takes place on the 4th of January and night 2 on January the 5th. It will be the 2nd night of the event that will host the Main Event where the Current IWGP Heavyweight Champion, currently held by Tetsuya Naito, will face the holder of G1 Climax briefcase, currently held by Kota Ibushi. The rest of card will not be announced until after Power Struggle.

The news of the restrictions was released by Tokyo Sports who interviewed the new NJPW president, Tamaki Obari, Obari took over as president from former president Harold Meji officially on October 23rd.
