Alexa Bliss is currently transforming before our very eyes on screen. She has become obsessed with The Fiend Bray Wyatt, and it appears she has decided to ‘let him in’.
The first sign of Alexa’s impending character change was when she made an appearance during the Swamp Fight between Wyatt and Strowman at the Horror Show at Extreme Rules. It was there she would appear before Braun as if he was hallucinating, asking him to come home to Wyatt.
Speaking to Scott Fishman of TV Insider, Alexa discussed her cameo in the Swamp Fight.
“I thought it was really cool how it came across. I didn’t know I was going to be in that. When I was told I was, it was really cool because it was something different. It was something I’ve never done. I love how it turned out,”
On the most recent episode of WWE SmackDown, Bliss would move even further towards The Fiend, using his finisher – the ‘Sister Abigail‘ – against Nikki Cross. She would go on to discuss her love for pushing the creative envelope:
“I love anything that is different and out-of-the-box,I love being able to evolve and change the character and spike people’s interest. I think that is what we’ve been doing with The Fiend. Everyone knows I love promos and to be able have a microphone and portray a character. It’s my favorite thing to do, so the fact I was able to try something new I’m having a lot of fun and excited to see where it goes.”
Alexa Bliss is the latest in a long line of superstars that has been forever changed after interacting with The Fiend, and it will be interesting to see what is next in store for the ‘Goddess’ of WWE.
