Ryback Calls Out Dave Meltzer

Dave Meltzer. A name that is synonymous with professional wrestling journalism but not always for the right reasons.

Fans regularly like to call Meltzer out for incorrect or “fake” reports, but the criticism isn’t exclusive to the paying public, with many wrestlers calling him out for various reasons over the years.

Just days after Miro (Rusev) tore into Meltzer for the things he said about his wife Lana, former WWE Superstar ‘The Big Guy’ Ryback has taken to Twitter to lay into Big Dave. Ryback didn’t hold back, saying Meltzer “makes money off other diseased marks” and “puts out lies for profit”:

I firmly believe the world would be a better place without Dave Meltzer. He is the most dangerous kind of Mark there is and puts out lies for profit, creating hate for people he dislikes. He makes money off other diseased marks, but does so in a horrible way.

Very important part of this is nowhere in there was death wished upon or implied outside of stating the world would be better with Dave not in it. Dave Meltzer has been doing this for a very long, and despite protests from the IWC, he won’t be going anywhere for a long time. Twitter fans are quick to attack Meltzer, but it should be remembered that any publicity is good publicity.
