WWE Writer Contract Leaked Online – Reveals Job Details & Requirements

WWE have gone through their fair share of writers over the years, with fans often pondering what exactly the role entails. Well you need wonder no more, as a post from a Reddit user who was offered a contract has revealed exactly what WWE expect of their staff.

A Reddit User called Just_Joey posted a photo of a WWE writer’s contract which he was offered. He ultimately turned down the role but took the liberty of having the contract framed afterwards. It seems as though the job offer was only recently rejected as his trial period would have been due to end on July 31st 2020.

I was offered a job writing for WWE Smackdown a few months ago and I turned it down, but I framed the contract they sent me and I just realized the end date of my trial period would have been yesterday. Here’s what a WWE writing contract looks like!

As can be seen in the image above, the employee would have reported to WWE Vice President of Creative Writing Ed Koskey. It also appears that WWE like to offer initial three month trial periods for new writers.
