Sting Reportedly Appearing At Royal Rumble “To Get The Ball Rolling” For Saudi Arabia Event Next Month

WWE will be going back to Saudi Arabia on February 27th for their next PPV event in the country.

It’s no secret that the Saudi’s love their nostalgic WWE Superstars, and it looks like there might be another WWE Hall of Famer making the trip with the company next month.

According to a report from PWInsider, they have stated that multiple sources have confirmed to them that “there is a lot of talk” that WWE Hall of Famer Sting will be traveling to Saudi Arabia for their event on February 27th. It was also stated that Sting will be a “major part” of the show, details weren’t given as to what his exact role might be, but it looks as though he could be competing in a match on the card.

“Over the last 24 hours, several sources within WWE have told PWInsider.com that there’s been a lot of talk that WWE Hall of Famer Sting will be a major part of the 2/27 Saudi Arabia event next month, possibly even returning to the ring for one more match.”

The report went on to state that the “current creative that was pitched, did not involve The Undertaker.”

It was also reported that Sting will be in Houston tonight for the Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View “to get the ball rolling” for next months appearance in Saudi Arabia, as talks have said to have progressed that far.

We will keep you updated if we hear anything more about a potential appearance from Sting tonight at the Royal Rumble, and also next month in Saudi Arabia.
