Edge Reportedly Appearing At Tonight’s Royal Rumble PPV – WWE Making WrestleMania Plans As Well

WWE’s annual Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View takes place tonight from Houston, Texas. One of the most talked about rumors leading up to tonight’s event is the possibility that WWE Hall of Famer Edge will be making his in-ring return.

Although Edge has been denying the rumors, and has stated that he’s elsewhere and not in Houston for tonight’s Rumble, more reports and rumors keep coming in which state that the Rated R Superstar will have a significant role in tonight’s Men’s Royal Rumble Match.

According to a report from Wrestling News, Edge’s appearance tonight at the Royal Rumble is not a one-off. It was also stated that WWE is making WrestleMania 36 plans that involve Edge as well.

“I was told that tonight’s appearance is not a one-time deal. I was told that there are plans for him at WrestleMania.”

Edge was forced to retire from in-ring competition back on April 11th, 2011 after suffering a severe neck injury. He wrestled his final match at WrestleMania 27 against Alberto Del Rio, however if rumors are true we may be seeing the Hall of Famer return to the ring tonight.

We will keep you updated if we hear anything else about Edge’s potential return, or anything about tonight’s Royal Rumble PPV.
